The company was founded in April 1982 under the name «Bolakis Michael & CO.». by MichaelBolakis Michael Bolakis. The required capital stock for the establishment of the company was the result of a seven year employment abroad of its chairman Mr Michael Bolakis. The central premises have been initially located to Korydallos and the company operated in the trade of alcohol and soft drinks.

The high rates of the company’s development as well as the rapid development of its customers have led to the creation of M.A.N.K.O. GROUP S.A., which was founded on February 26th, 1988 and specializes in the field of sales, marketing, storage, distribution and third party logistic. The establishment of new premises and the selection of a strategic point which would not only cover the currently increasing needs but also correspond to any future needs resulted in the selection of Aspropyrgos in Attica.
